Kazakhstan –Israel forum of information – communication technologies is held in Kazakhstan first time. The representatives of 30 big companies of Israel took part in business meeting with heads of JSC Kazakhtelecom. Among them there are - «Alvarion», «Gilat», «Frequency Bank Signal», «Connect One», «ECI Telecom», «EIM Telecom», «FTS Formula Telecom Solution», «Teledata Networks» and other. Basically, these companies are interested in development of mutual projects in sector of wireless, mobile, cable communication, Internet –services and system integration.

From JSC Kazakhtelecom side Business Development Chief Director Rizat Nurshabekov, Chief Technical director Alexander Lezgovko, Chief commercial director Askar Eserkegenov and Chief financial director Arnur Nurkatov spoke at a meeting.

The representatives of Israel telecommunication companies have listened at the presentation «General directions and perspectives of development of JSC Kazakhtelecom ". The participants of meeting have discussed the items, concerned with the expansion of collaboration between two countries in infocommunications sphere. During discussion the items of development and introduction of new services, IPTV, Triple Play, the construction of next generation networks NGN, convergence of mobile and fixed line communications and expansion of services’ spectrum were touched upon .

The leading telecommunication operator of Kazakhstan JSC Kazakhtelecom has big experience of work with such telecommunication companies of Israel, as «Gilat», «ECI Telecom», «Teledata Networks» and «Alvarion». For example, the collaboration with company «Gilat» began in 1998 year. The contract on supply of VSAT «FaraWay» equipment on satellite technology DAMA (Demand Assignment Multiple Access) for provision of hard-to-reach far rural localities by telephonic communication was signed between JSC Kazakhtelecom and «Gilat». In 2000 year JSC Kazakhtelecom has signed the contract on purchase of satellite equipment «SkyStar Advantage» on data communication for purpose of project realization on the construction of business-network with trade mark «KULAN».

The collaboration with «Alvarion» consists in the supply of equipment for provision of services of wireless broadcast access on WiMax technology for Astana and Aktobe cities.
